Project Brief.
This outdoor forest school wanted a film to showcase their incredible facility. They wanted to blend interviews of parents and teachers with footage of children playing and thriving in the natural environment. Additionally, they wanted the clips to be provided in a social media-optimised format, which would allow them to share engaging content throughout the year and strengthen their online presence.
Solution.
We turned up with our camera gear, and as always our first mission was to make all the children and parents as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Luckily, the kids were fascinated with the cameras, and most of them wanted to be in as many shots as possible. We even let some of the kids film some shots themselves! As well as
capturing the footage, we took parents and teachers to the side for some impromptu interviews, which we were then able to weave into the video to form the narrative.
Result.
We love this video. It really reflects the atmosphere in the forest school, and shows how much fun the children have on a day-to-day basis. Nurture used this on their website, to show to prospective parents who were looking for a place to send their children. They also utilised the clips across their social media channels, again boosting their presence with their target audience.
